Ario Living App Troubleshooting

  • The Ario Living app connects to the cloud regularly to confirm your lamp's settings. If this check fails, you will see this message.
  • This is most often caused by a weak WiFi connection or switching between WiFi and cellular data. It can also be caused by maintenance to the cloud, though this should never last more than 2 minutes.
  • If this happens to you frequently, or you've been unable to access the app for at least 5 minutes after receiving this message, please contact us at

"There was a problem communicating with the cloud."

"The app was unable to move your Ario to a new room."

"There was a cloud error changing this setting."

"There was an unknown error."

  • These messages should rarely appear.
  • If you do see one of these, please wait 30 seconds and try your action again.
  • If you get any of these message often, or for more than 60 seconds in a row, please contact us at

"There was a problem communicating with your Ario."

"The changes were saved, but will not take effect until your Ario reconnects to the cloud."

  • You will see these messages if your lamp is currently offline for any reason.
  • Your settings will be saved in the cloud and sent to the lamp immediately after it reconnects.
